HEAT RECOVERY
Keos progetta e realizza sistemi di recupero calore per l’industria ceramica.
Thanks to our experience in energy recovery, we are available as a partner to aid ceramic companies in their search for the best solution to rationalise energy consumption.
It is possible to build heat recovery systems from hot air which would otherwise be lost, from tunnel kilns as well as intermittent kilns.
The operation is particularly advantageous especially with tunnel kilns, being a machine that operates continuously, there are constant air flows that can be directed either towards drying units, air conditioning systems in the casting room, indoor heating and DHW.
The recovery ducting, duly insulated, recovers from both combustion flues as well as cooling flues.
Details
These are the main achievable benefits:
– considerable reduction of energy costs
– no impact on kiln operation
Versions:
Indirect recovery:
this is comprised of a recovery unit with a smoke-water or
smoke-air exchanger. The recovered energy is then sent to the fixtures.
Direct recovery:
thanks to an automatic ventilation system, the adjustment and mixing of the hot air recovered from the kiln is provided directly to the fixtures.
The machines are designed completely in-house. Thanks to the collaboration of technicians and select suppliers, the entire construction stage is carried out by our technical department.
Lastly, we oversee and perform installation and final testing of the machine at the customer’s site.
